A 30-year-old paraglider pilot has been rescued after being trapped 30 metres off the ground in the Gold Coast hinterland.

A NSW Ambulance Service rescue helicopter has responded to the accident at Manilla, north of Tamworth, after the paraglider fell to the ground from a height of eight metres about 3pm (AEDT) today.
